To apply, please submit the following materials:
- Application form (download, print and return)
- Résumé containing all relevant work, education and volunteer information
- $35 application fee (non-refundable, payable by check to “Foreign Experts LLC”)
- 3 passport-sized photos
- A copy of your diploma or degree certificate. If you haven't yet graduated please send a letter from your university (usually provided by the registrar) stating the expected date of your graduation. You must have finished your degree by the time you begin teaching in China.
- A copy of your passport photo page. Your passport must have at least six months of validity left and (when you apply for your work visa) at least two blank pages. Click here for information about how to obtain a passport.
- One letter of reference from an employer, professor, or someone else (other than a family member) qualified to speak about your character.
- An official transcript from the college at which you received a degree
- A one to two page (double-spaced) personal statement that explains why you are interested in teaching in China and what would make you a successful teacher
The application form, résumé, reference letter, essay, and copies of diplomas and passport photo pages can be emailed to admissions@foreignexperts.org, mailed to the address below or faxed to us at: (617) 507-5985. The official transcript and passport-sized photos must be sent by mail to:
